WRITERS' WORKOUT
A two-day practical writing workshop for those at the redrafting stage, going beyond 'story' to focus on the craft of writing for the screen.

SCREENWRITING UK
A two-day training programme specifically for writers who are trying to break into the UK film industry. Aiming to equip participants with the skills to write an impressive first draft and the inside knowledge that can get it in front of those that count. This course will be linked to our Friendly Producers Scheme, which aims to introduce the most exciting new writing talent to top UK Producers.

TREATMENT WRITING WORKSHOP
A condensed afternoon session which aims to take the fear out of treatment writing, considers the most effective ways of synopsising your drama and offers an understanding of the function of treatments in the development process.

Backwards, forwards and going around in circles. Not every film idea suits a linear narrative. Explore alternative approaches to structuring your screenplay on this one-day workshop.

The ability to structure a screen story from existing material (be it a true story or a novel) is a skill every serious screenwriter should master. This one-day workshop session considers various creative approaches to working with source material plus offers some practical principles to ease the adaptation process.
