The Script Factory's Lucy Scher heads for The Hurst, the Arvon Centre's Shropshire retreat, to lead a week's workshop in writing for the screen.
"To run before the film premiere, a script’s first audience is a reader, so learning the craft of writing for the screen is essential. This course offers theory and practice from two perspectives: the script reader, exploring the questions that readers bring to scripts, and the screenwriter, with practical sessions in re-writing and working collaboratively. The course culminates with team productions of short films."
Lucy will be joined by co-tutor, screenwriter Paul Fraser, and actress Kerry Fox.
